Saturday, April 12, 2014 — Sabeel DC Metro today provided a superb forum for three prophetic voices — and three of the key authors of Zionism Unsettled: Rev. Dr. Walt Davis, Dr. Pauline Coffman,  Rev. Dr. Don Wagner. Sabeel describes itself as ” an ecumenical grassroots liberation theology movement among Palestinian Christians.”  The word “Sabeel” is Arabic for ‘the way’ and also a ‘channel’ or ‘spring’ of life-giving water.   Fr. Sean Mc Manus — President of the Capitol Hill -based Irish National Caucus and Holy Land Principles, Inc. — said: ” I had the honor and blessing of sitting at the feet of three masters, highly gifted and profoundly dedicated… It was like watching the three theological virtues — faith, hope and love — in action, on behalf of justice… Like a Holy Week Retreat, but the day before Palm Sunday.”   Zionism Unsettled is the recently published 74-page Congregational Study Guide by the Israel/Palestine Mission Network of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).   Fr. Mc Manus explained that Holy Land Principles, Inc. recently sent Zionism Unsettled to every CEO and every Investor Relations Contact of the 550 American companies doing business in Palestine-Israel as part of the campaign to get all those companies to sign the Holy Land Principles. He said: ” I believe this has been one of the best things we have done because their is no better teaching tool than this superb publication.”   Barbara Flaherty — Executive Vice President, Irish National Caucus and Holy Land Principles, Inc., who also attended the Sabeel conference  — added: ” It was inspiration to be part of such a wonderful event, and be surrounded by such truly caring people.”   Photos below show Rev.
