VIDEO SCRIPT–EASTER SOLIDARITY FOR IRISH UNITY AND PEACE
THIS EASTER, IF YOU KNEW YOU COULD DO SOMETHING
VERY EFFECTIVE FOR IRISH SOLIDARITY, UNITY, AND PEACE WOULD YOU DO IT?
SOMETHING THAT IS FREE AND ONLY TAKES A MOMENT… WOULD YOU DO IT?
A SPECIAL SOMETHING SPONSORED BY THE IRISH NATIONAL CAUCUS
… WOULD YOU DO IT?
WELL, LET ME TELL YOU WHAT IT IS.
Hi, I’m Fr. Sean McManus, President of the Capitol Hill-based Irish National Caucus in Washington, DC, and Chief Judge of the World Peace Prize.
And this is our twenty-third social-media video on our “One Ireland Petition” and on England’s Partition of Ireland, enacted on December 23, 1920, by the London Parliament, with the assent of the King of England. It was undemocratic and unjust, and it’s still unworkable.
The “One Ireland Petition” states beautifully and truthfully: “Ireland, too, has the right to be One Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
What true Irish person the world over—or what person who respects international human rights—would refuse to sign and share this splendid Petition?
Sign in for a new Ireland and a shared new future, “with liberty and justice for all.”
Sign and share in solidarity, in unity, in sisterhood and brotherhood. Sign Petition in Truth, Justice, Love, and Freedom—the four social values of any fair and decent society.
The Petition as of this date has been signed by almost 27,000
justice and peace-loving people, who care deeply about equality and mutual respect; and who have a deep patriotic love for Ireland, North, South, East, and West.
Surely you want your name and your family’s name on this splendid Petition?
The Petition is hosted by Change.org
It’s on Twitter and Facebook
And, of course, on our web site IrishNationalCaucus.org
Thank you for watching
Happy Easter.
And… God save Ireland
