“I am so grateful to the Greenville AOH for sponsoring my book-launch. And I am greatly looking forward to it. They have a fine group of dedicated Irish-Americans in Greenville, and indeed throughout the great State of South Carolina”.
Joe Deehan, President of the Harp and Shamrock AOH Division in Greenville, said:“The AOH in Greenville is proud to welcome Fr. Mc Manus. The AOH nationwide has strongly supported his work over the past 40 years. And we in South Carolina look forward to this book-launch of his Memoirs”.

Fr. Mc Manus’ Memoirs, My American Struggle for Justice in Northern Ireland, has been widely acclaimed.
For example, former Mayor of Boston says: “Fr. Sean knows the history of the struggle for justice in Northern Ireland as well as anyone — he lived it. A very important book”. One reviewer has declared: “It makes one want to stand up an cheer”.

Noted Dublin journalist and broadcaster Vincent Browne said: “Fr. Mc Manus stood out against powerful forces in a fight for justice and fairness. I didn’t always agree with the causes he supported but I admired his persistence, his courage and his relentlessness. And admiration that one person, almost alone, could make such impact on public policy in the United States.”
