In Brief:
The Irish National Caucus in America is to
step up its boycott campaign against the Ford Motor company.
Fr. Sean McManus said last night that the
caucus was launching a direct mail campaign to half a million
Irish-American households urging them not to buy Ford products.
"Conservatively speaking," said
Fr. McManus, "at least one million people will be exposed to our
Direct Mail Campaign. Thats bound to have a significant impact on
Ford."
Fr. McManus said the campaign was to try to
force Ford to sign the MacBride Principles of employment.
