Brilliant Documentary Film Boosts Campaign to Raise the Kincora Richard-Kerr Case in Congress.

On May 29, 2021, the Irish National Caucus produced a video — video # 26—on our campaign to raise the Kincora-Richard Kerr case in Congress.

Have you heard of the new developments?

Hi, I’m Fr. Sean McManus —President of the Capitol Hill-based Irish National Caucus in Washington DC and Chief Judge of the World Peace Prize…. And this is the Thirty First Video of the Irish National Caucus.

When we first raised the Kincora-Richard Kerr case in Congress on May 19, 2021, we had no idea that this case would later feature in a brilliant new documentary film by Michael Oswald, God bless him. It was released on September 29, 2021, titled “The Man Who Knew Too Much,” now viewed by over 275,000 people on YouTube.

The documentary is about Colin Wallace—God bless him, too—a former Senior Information Officer at the British Ministry of Defense in Northern Ireland.

Colin Wallace sacrificed his promising career because in conscience he had to speak the truth and expose wrongdoing by the British Government in Northern Ireland. He was one of the first to raise the sexual abuse of Richard Kerr and other boys in Kincora and other State-run Homes for Protestant Boys in Northern Ireland.

In the documentary, Colin explains how British Intelligence knew all about the sexual abuse of the boys in Kincora and other State-run Homes and they used it —used the sexual abuse—for intelligence -gathering, blackmailing, and compromising.

Colin Wallace is one of the Kincora experts advising us on the Richard Kerr’s case the Irish National Caucus has raised in Congress. And, this brilliant new documentary is a powerful boost to our campaign.

Congress will know that this case is not going away. It must be heard and respected—especially since Richard is now an American citizen, living in Texas.

And if American citizenship means anything, then Richard’s Congressman Colin Allred (D-TX) must surely stand up for him? And the Members of Congress who have traditionally been concerned about justice and peace in Ireland must surely take up his case. Richard is a Protestant from Belfast, so standing up for him will show that Congress is not only concerned about the rights of Catholics in Northern Ireland.

Furthermore, the House Foreign Affairs Committee and sub-Committees on Human Rights, like the Lantos Commission on Human Rights, and the US Helsinki Commission must surely show concern about Richard’s horrible mistreatment by the British Government, which still covers up his mistreatment and sexual abuse.

Richard was trafficked as a boy in Ireland, Britain, and Europe… So, the Congressional Human Trafficking Caucus should surely take a stand for Richard. Its co-founders are Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY) and Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ). To this day, the British Government has covered up that Richard was trafficked —and trafficked for powerful people who sexually abused him as a boy. So, surely the Congressional Human Trafficking Caucus must not be silent about Richard’s abuse!

So, friends, please let Congress know that Americans want Congress to stand up for Richard Kerr. And, for inspiration, please watch “The Man Who Knew Too Much.”

Thank you for watching.

God save Ireland.
